Swap games with Match Me

Let us do the hard work and find the games other members want to swap with you!

This service is completely free of charge - you don't need to do anything or pay anything to use it. In fact, it's actually better than free of charge as for each successful swap both members involved will be entered into our monthly and annual prize draws. If you do wish to recommend Playr2 to your friends and get them to sign up you will receive additional entries into the monthly and annual prize draws!

We know the values of the games in the trade in and second hand markets (as well as what they would cost new) so we show this information to help you decide what is a fair swap.

The swap appears in the Marketplace for all members to see. Your swap is not limited to those members who happened to have the game already on their lists.

Instructions

Before you can use any of our Marketplace features you need make sure you've filled in some details such as your name and address in your account so the other member involved in the final transaction knows who they are dealing with.

Firstly, you need to tell us which games you want and which games you already own. To do this you need to find the games in our database.

You can find games in one of three easy ways:

• Search for your game using the search box at the top of the page
• Scan your game's barcode using our barcode scanner to the right of the search box (webcam required)
• Download our App and use your smart phone to scan your games 

Once you have found a game, use the buttons in the Playr2 Game Toolbox. If you want the game then click "Want this game" and it will be added to your wanted list. If you already own the games then click "Own this game" and it will be added to your owned list.

Once you are happy with your lists you are ready to hit the Match Me button in the Marketplace.

This will now suggest the swaps you might like to make with other members. Simply leave the ticks against the swaps you are interested in and hit the "Submit Swaps" button.

The swaps have now been created for you in the Marketplace and the other members who are potentially interested in them will receive an email notification. We assume that your games are in "Used - Good" condition. If you would like to amend the condition or add some additional free text information about your games you can do this via the My Marketplace area of your account.

When a member decides to offer you a swap you will receive a notification and the swap will proceed as normal through the Marketplace system; you post your games to each other (updating the swap status along the way) and then both give feedback on the other member.
